We combined two monastic beer styles, Doppelbock and Belgian Strong Ale, to create this distinctive beer.
The result is a rich, intensely malty, dark brown ale with complex flavors of dark fruit and peppery spice and hints of roasted malt and warming alcohol.

"This beer poured a dark copper color with a decent head. It had an aroma of dry roasted malt with an equally dry flavor with toffee tones. It was made well, but not really my thing."

"This tasty beer pours a dark, shiny copper colour with a little bit of cloudiness. Nice big off white head, aromas of spice and hops, flavors mild of ripe fruit and alcohol. Mid palate is semi-sweet with creamy wheat flavor."
