This coppery session ale features light yet rich caramel and biscuit maltiness, plum-like fruitiness contributed by characterful English yeast, and minimal hopping. A rare, old style, mild ale is seldom found anywhere, let alone outside the United Kingdom, where it originated.

"Possibly one of my least favorites from Titletown. Pours a dark muddy copper colour with a medium tan head. Aroma is weak, and the body is light with burnt peanuts on the nose. A little grassy at times."

"From a nitrogen tap, this beer pours a fine deep copper color with a creamy white head. Everything about this brew is mild, mild, mild, but not anemic or watered-down. Almost no nose, just a faint aroma of grain and light hops. Smooth and creamy and quite light bodied. Flavors are subdued but well-balanced nevertheless; little noticeable hops and understated but smooth malt with little finish. A good version of this rarely seen English-style Mild Ale."
