Chambly Noire is a smooth and creamy dark beer with a beige and persistent head. Its torrefaction aromas and slight bitterness enable it to perfectly accompany various fish dishes, strong cheeses and chocolate desserts.

"Hate to say it, but this is probably the Unibroue beer I like the least. A foamy, light brown head of three fingers' depth capped a very dark brown, non-transparent body. The aromas were fruity and spiced; quite enjoyable and was the taste. The mouthfeel was a bit thich, and almost too heavy while the finish was smooth but rather too sweet. "

"A very black beer as the 'noire' would suggest. It's beautiful to look at. The aroma was a complex of roasted malts, yeast, some dark fruits (figs, plums) with a little hoppy tone. The flavour is similar in that there is huge malt taste up front and a yeasty taste in the end. A good beer."

"Fairly typical beer here from Unibroue. It clearly has the standard Belgian aroma and taste profile. Dark fruits in the nose, along with some malty sweetness. Pretty tame actually if you ask me. Appearance is really nice with a great color, reminded me of cherry coke in color. Head was foamy with a quick dissipation. Mouthfeel had that classic Belgian feel to it. Flavors are dark fruits, a touch spicy, a bit metallic with a medium sweetness. Pretty standard stuff here. Not really sure what the difference is between this and a few of Unibroue's other darker beers (i.e., Trois Pistoles, Maudite, etc) except maybe the alcohol content. This might be one of my favorite labels too."

"Pours a very dark brown. The tan head is really darker than expected for a beer that wouldn’t quite qualify for good porter or stout standards. There are lots of fruits going on here, but it’s not a jumbled mess. There’s dates and some other dark fruits, mixed in with a fresh fruit tartness that works well with this. Perhaps a little coriander in the nose and a slight caramel candy in the malt profile."

"Another decent product from Unibroue. It pours a solid black color. It's full bodied and leaves a slight bitter taste in your mouth. "
