Vetter 33 (Cousin 33) is the "strongest" beer in the world. Brewmaster Rudolf J. Kasper von Vetters and his cousins wanted to prove that they could brew the strongest beer in the world. With their "Cousin 33" they offered a strong beer with an original malt content at 33.19% by weight and 37.91% by volume. Vetter 33 is registered in the 1994 Guinness Book of World Records.

"Bottle, RBESG 2005, Grand Tasting. Very dark reddish brown colour, no head. Strong malty sweet aroma with caramel. VERY sweet wort, molasses and caramel flavour. Sticky. Too sweet for me."
