11% dark beer with the average alcohol content in the amount of 4.5% vol. Four kinds of special malts are used for this beer production. The characteristic property is the full and malty caramel flavour and aroma as well as the dark colour shade. Havran should be served cooled down to 10 - 12°C.

"Bottled. Deep ruby colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some fruits and mild notes of grain. Flavour is nice roasted malts with some mild hoppy and caramelly hints. The finish and aftertaste gets ruined by a huge metallicness. "

"Draught at Pivni Galerie, Prague. The PG beer list says ABV is 4.9%, but the brewery website says 4.5%. Plato is 11%. "Havran" seems to mean "raven" in English, acccording to the website. Black colour, moderate tan head. Nice lacing. Malty aroma with notes of leather, liquorice and tobacco. Easily drinkable, moderate but nice roastiness, hints of liquorice. A slight sweetness in the aftertaste. Very good."
