A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

"A translucent golden-yellow bodied beer. On pour there’s a large foamy white head. It settles somewhat quickly into an impressive lacing. A doughy malt and subtle floral hops greets the nose. Fine bubbles tickle the palate. The beer has substance and it’s taste is crisp, sweet balanced well with hops. "

"Aroma is grainy with some skunky overtones and some wet hay and malty sweetness and dissappointing. Appearance is a golden yellow in color with a soapy and fuzzy head on top that is bleach-white and remains leaving lacing on the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and more like a semi-strong, Euro-lager with a palate that is wet-like. Flavor is of malty sweetness with some light hops with and aftertaste that is clean and crisp but skunky and a finish that is lite lager light. Overall, not a good beer at all and no way in hell this is a marzen but more like a mai bock if anything; not worth the money so pass up...Sad example of style here and I usually am generous when rating. "This might just be the lightest looking and lightest tasting Marzen/Oktoberfest style beer I've had. Pours out a pale golden yellow color with a big fizzy head. It's really a few shades away from stepping into pale lager territory. The aroma is slightly spicy, some really light malt character too it and not much else. Reminded me of drinking a pilsner in almost every way. Flavor was grassy, lightly sweet, with an underlying spicy yeast character that was refreshing. Odd that this is considered what it is, because it's really super light in both color and flavor."

"Pours a golden yellow color with a nice foamy head and ample lacing. Good carbonation. Aroma started with hops, then a grassy maltness that is very close to a pilsener. Taste is slightly bitter with more hops than most marzens then balanced and some dryness. Lighter in color and in taste than most marzens."

"For an oktoberfest beer I found this to be too bitter. It was a bit overpowering on my palate and unfortunately that was all I could taste. A golden colored lager which immediately confused me because most oktoberfest beer are orange or copper colored."
