A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

"I've always wanted to try a brew from the worlds oldest brewery. The aroma is pleasant, good appearance, feels good in the mouth. The only downfall is that it has a strong metallic taste to it, almost like aluminum. Overall a pleasant beer, but not one you drink all the time."

"Damn, this brewery is older than the English language. Smells sweet, with some gassy notes in there. Orange-yellow color with a thin white fluffy head that rather quickly vacates the premises. Dots of lacing left behind. Tastes sweet, with some fruit, mostly bananas and apples. Slight hoppy tang. Finishes clean and a little dry. Mouthfeel is nice; doesn't become watery after the head disappears, the consistency is very smooth. For the money, which I think was $2-3, this was pretty darn tasty."

"Pours a clear light gold or yellow color with a thick fluffy white head which settles down but I still get some nice lacing. Aroma is malty with a lot of fresh cut grass. The beer tastes OK, there's nothing foul about it, but I wouldn't call it good either. A mix of grassy semi-sweet malts and hops and the beer finishes a little sour and dry. I'm sure I'll have a beer from this brewer again but it'll be their hefe I buy, not this one. "

"Pours a deep golden yellow with a nice head and some lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of malts, grassy hops and a very slight lemony citrus. Taste is malty with a nice slight hops bitter in the end."

"There’s a solid maltiness to this beer that I like. It is fairly dry, and it has that straw malt that I like in my pale lagers. A very tasty all-malt lager."
