AutumnFest is Weyerbacher's own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It's a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer.
Weyerbacher AutumnFest ( ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

"Bottle: Poured a medium amber color lager with an average head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of dry caramel hops with no discernable hops or many other characteristics. Taste is also dominated by some dry caramel malt. I know this is not the most extreme style out there and it is meant to be drank in large quantities but this one was just a bit too average in all aspects."

"Single bottle, from a self made Weyerbacher mixed sixer. Perhaps my last Oktoberfest of the '07 season. Aroma had a simple buttery sweetness, plain and faint. Poured a clear light amber color producing a respectable head and good lacing. Fresh, light mouth feel. Flavor was mostly sweet malt with buttery bread. Moderate nuttiness and mildly bitter. I felt there was a common English influence in this beer. A little confused of the classification especially since the bottle states this as "Autumn Fest Ale". It was a pleasant beer."

"Slightly darker than the typical American lager, perhaps like a yuengling in appearance. Not much aroma but I have a stuffy nose. Taste is not really octoberfest like in any way. Festive, yes but not offensive, friendly in its own personality. Rather mild but has an industrial effect that nears bitter on the palate front. Decent carbonation, it certainly is noticeable. Finish is rather behaved and controlled but that industrial mild bitterness keeps rearing it’s head. Overall; easy to drink and above average in quality. However, this is smooth enough that you would never know this is above 6%. Can’t hold a candle to Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Märzen. "

"Poured a nice golden color with a fluffy head. Aroma was very citrusy. For Flavor was very hoppy more so then other for this style. Aftertaste was more IPAish with grapefruit in there. I enjoyed this one just not sure if its in the right style."

"10.29.04 12oz bottle. Pretty beer glows with copper, amber, and golden coors and a fluffy, foamy head. Herbal and grassy aromas on the wane, hints of cardboard. Bready malt is mostly sweet with more herbal hints and a sharp, weedy finish with undertones of appleskin; growing vegetal as it warms."
