"I finally had a chance to visit the new brewery location. Tasting room is large and open, not much atmosphere, but hey, we're here for the beer.
This is a grat oatmeal stout. Color is black, even when held to the light. Comes with a thick and creamy tan colored head. Great head retention, and thin but coating lacing. Smell of toasted grain and roasted coffee. Nice taste with more roasted flavor and even a bit of chocolate. Very well balanced. Smooth finish. Easy to drink, I can't wait to go back for another. Easily a new favorite of mine.
Too bad it only available on tap at the brewery for now.
