Preservatives, no. Additives, yes...thousands of little red additives called raspberries. Whole raspberries. This lightly hopped ale contains 4.5% alc./vol. and is a refreshing choice all year round. Drink the pink!

"Orange/pink in appearance, with a very minimal head. Fruity taste which is tart not sweet. Aroma is not particularly appealing although it is not horrible."

"Poured a dark peach color (tinge of pink in straw)....medium carbonation... Had a chunky 2 finger cap that laced out quickly and clings to the glass through the drink. Aromas of berries, and grassy hop...sweet malt as well. Started fairly tart, light fluid mouth feel, sweetish malty body that finishes with a decent bready aftertaste punctuated with a twang of berry tartness....a nice light summer drink but for my preferences I’d rather see Wild Rose shelve this one as a seasonal and put the cherry porter into year round production.

"Originally brewed as a summer seasonal, it proved popular enough be available year-round. Served draft, so little or no head by the time it arrived (but it was served in a Wild Rose glass). Golden color with a pinkish tinge. Aroma is tartness of raspberries, and fruit smell, not sugary or sweet. Taste is a of a soft wheat beer beer with more raspberry flavor. Because it is brewed with whole berries and not extract or syrup, it is a nice balanced taste - tart, not sweet. It is kind of thin, and not really exciting, but for its style, very good."
