"I'm sad as this is the last of the African beers, but glad I got to share them in the company of my friends: Poured a dull yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma has the corn and malty notes, but a decent amount of carbonation keeps this brew lively and fairly refreshing. Mildly bitter hops throughout. Finishes with slight grassiness. Thanks again John for the beers, it was fun!"

"I've had many Windhoek Lagers, but this is the first time for the canned "Draught", at the Sedia, Maun, Botswana on 2/9/08. An effervescent golden body with a bubbly white head. The nose is flowery, and the taste mostly malt with a little mild hop. Much less assertive or flavorful than the Lager; smoother, more mellow, but also much less character."

"can; courtesy of MadDan - clear and pale golden colour, little foam; a vague touch of aromatic hoppiness is in the air; quite sweet with a high carbonation; medium-bodied at best, oily, short corny finish - simple and weak"
