"Almost black with red edges with thin light brown foam. Coffee, toffee, figs, cream and pear in aroma. Full flavour of coffee, black chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, raisin and alcohol. Coffee-bitter aftertaste with notes of anise, cocoa- cream and alcohol"

"Bottled. Black colour, with yellowish brown, longlasting head. Lovely roasted malt, licorace and caramel in aroma, with weak hints of ash. Flavour is strong roasted malt, smoke from wet wood and ashes. Also some licorace and black coffee noteable. Especially the aftertaste gets wetwood smokeish. Very nice Imperial stout, which hides it's 8.4% very well. Slightly watery palate, which is among the only weak details in the beer. "

"Poured a dark brown color with a small, thin, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of fudge chocolate, nuts, smoke, and dried fruits. Taste of chocolate and smoke, some bitter roast, light hoppiness, and faint alcohol in the finish as well. Creamy mouthfeel."
