This is a Scottish ale, brewed in honor of Robert Burns (1759-1796) and inspired by Scottish whisky. It is a so-called single-hop ale, where only one type of hops is used for both bitterness and aroma. This ale has a gorgeous mahogany colour, a rich malty tase with a touch of Danish smoked malt and a tad of oak in the aftertaste.
