You will recognize Wittekerke Wit Beer by the elegant glass, the sunny colour and the dense, creamy head. The flavour is rounded and has a spicy subdued bitterness. The celebrated beer connoisseur Michel Jackson becomes lyrical while describing Wittekerke as "creamy, aromatic, with a clean, teasing, perfumy fruitiness and faintly herbal tartness".

"Yellow hazy with a hint of lemonade in the look of the body only a small skiff of foam floated on top. Sour malts with some stink of skunk in the nose, lemon starts to appear but not to strong. I don’t like the stench of this brew. Taste is better then the aroma more wheat comes out, lemon, and mild spice. Taste is growing on me the more I drink, finishes very dry and floral. The wheat flavor is nice and smooth and this has a very sweet after taste. Brew started out close to a 2 but the more I drank the better it got, Hoegaarden is still better though."

"Poured out a nice cloudy slightly dirty light yellow with a huge bright white bubbly cap that retained about a pinky finger throughout, some messy lacing. The aroma gains strength after awhile as it comes out pretty damn weak out of the bottle. Stiff wheat and some lemon with a touch of spice. Tough to find that when I ass is spewing out the odor of a corpse. As with the taste, this one come out soft but man, it gains some serious strength for the style. Wheat, weak orange? weak lemon, coriander. Solid spice! Tangy on the tongue, near medium bodied, dries you at on the finish. Ends with wheat and weak spice (perfect). This went from being quite boring to very enjoyable. At 3.50$ a bottle, my fridge may see more this summer."

"I brought this beer into my country club becuase it was offered in a can and I could have it on the golf coarse. Some of my members like others are just coors light drinkers. I like it. That being said it has to be hot outside and don't pour it out of the can it taste better if you leave it in the can. Tart on the front and refreshing on the back."

"Pale yellow and hazy with a dense fluffy pure white head; great retention and good lacing. Mild aromas of faint fruit and spice; flavors are much more of the former than the latter. A light, tangy mouthfeel and the finish is a little thin and flat. MUSIC: 'Waiting for the Summer' by Yeasayer"

"Pours out in a hazy pale yellow appearance with a fluffy lasting white foam. Mild aroma of dried oranges, wheat, soap and mild spices. Light-bodied with notes of banana, soap, coriander and dried oranges. Short mild finish of lemon and mild spices. "
