"Bottled. Pale golden colour with mediumsized white head that vanishes quite quickly. Strong malty, grainy and rubbery nose with also rice in it. Also mild notes of rotten vegetables. Flavour is smooth rice and malts with not much bitterness at all. Watery and boring. "

"It pours clear.. smells like the beauty of a skunk.. probably the best malty tasting Asian beer I have had in years. As I look at all these poor reviews for this beer maybe theres something I am just missing. I do not mind it at all."

" The official State beer of china. Made in Beijing. This beer is horrible. The labal is the only good thing about it. This is probable why they sell this, because it isn't the beer itself that sells it. Don't waste your money."

"Deep gold colored body, descent sized head with good retention for a lager, looked better then the average import that I have come across. Notable faint hops, apple, darker smelling malts comprised most of the aroma, with just a touch of skunk thrown in but I think it’s the law that all imported lagers contain some skunk. Lots a cheap malts with a bit of a darker flavor, massive bread after taste. Beer seems to be medium bodied and not overly carbonated. Taste seems slightly chalky and way to strong of a flavor for me. Better then your normal oriental import but its still not that good. Why do my marks for this seem so high????"

"A very average beer. Tasted quite dry with a bit of a bitter aftertaste. It smelled kind of skunky but it was in a green bottle. "
