"Bottled. Hazy golden colour with small white head, which lasts for quite a bit. Leaves nice lace. Aroma is earthyness, mild notes of sour fruits, wood and yeast. Flavour is very much sour fruits, yeast and some wooden hints mixed in. A wellbalanced brew which does the "sweetish sour" thing very well. Refreshing. "

[2] Review by Phil B from Gatineau, Canada who has tried this beer once. (1/18/2008 11:16:21 AM)
"Bottle courtesy of Steph: Poured an hazy dirty beige color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with perfect retention and lacing, there probably was still foam in my glass 30 minutes after the pour. Aroma consists of a well balance mix between oak and tart with some green apple and some very light horse blanket. Taste is quite sour with load of oak and some tartness. The yeast from the original Belgian ale is still identifiable and provided an interesting complexity to the mix. Full body with limited filtration and some great carbonation. I have to admit that I was truly amazed by this beer and it definitely surpassed my expectation. It is too bad that I will probably never see a bottle of this again."
