Mit 6,8 % Vol.Alkohol ist der Kuenringer Festbock das stärkste Bier aus der Privatbrauerei Zwettl. Das Starkbier wird hauptsächlich zu Festtagen getrunken.
Das satte Honiggelb des Kuenringer Festbock schimmert golden. Es hat eine süße Nase und ist satt und würzig im Antrunk. Der ausgeprägte Hopfengeschmack erinnert an Kiwi. Cremig am Gaumen, hat es noch im Abgang einen intensiv herben Ton.

"It is a very interesting bock bier south of the elbe and on into Austria. This beer is authentic austrian bock and should not be thought of as German because that would be like comparing American Ales to Belgian Monk Ales. The appearance is shimmering gold, sweet on the nose and is full bodied. There diffinatly is a good strain of hops in this brew and it is medium thick and creamy for a mouthfeel. Flavor is mighty good with lots of spice, little sweetness and a nice alcohol effect on the presentation. "
