I saw that there has been a lot going on with Radegast beers in the last few days. Personally, I have never tried it, although I'm pretty sure it is in the store so I will try it soon. Anyway, I looked for it on the web and found the English version at: http://www.radegast.cz/english/index.html. It also has an awards section that include “The Beer of the Year” (1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, and 1998), which is a local award. It has also won a few other local awards. As far as international, the Premium won a Silver Medal at the World Championship in Chicago in 1998. Keep in mind that these awards are by style of course, so if a Czech Pilsener isn't your type of beer then it's certainly not the best in the world for you. Anyway, as a bonus I'm including the ratings I've found in my books... Michael Jackson (the most famous beer writer in the world) gives the Premium 2.5 stars out of 4. Bob Klein (who some would argue is as good or better than Jackson) gives it 3.1 out of 5. Finally, the Beer Taster's Log (which I've never cared much for) gives the best beer of Radegast a 50 out of 100. Overall, it seems slightly better than average, but then again, don't take their word for it until you've tried it yourself!
