"This Belgian Strong Ale pours a slightly cloudy medium amber color from a 33cl bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is sweet malts, over-ripe dark fruit and some spices. A medium bodied BSA. The malts are caramel, dark fruits and fairly sweet. The hops are earthy. A touch spicy, grain of paradise and coriander, but mostly sweet malts and fruit. Nice carbonation. Hides the 11% alcohol very well. Would make a nice beer to sip on a cool winter evening. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. "

"Thanks to Patra for this wonderful birthday gift. It pours a dark iced tea color with a thick white head that fades off quickly. It does leave some lace on the glass even without much of a head. The aroma has sweet ripe fruit notes with bready malts and earthy yeast. The medium body is full of malts, yeast and coriander. Sweet and sour fruit notes pop out then fade off into a light bitter hops finish. Over all it's a very good, but average, Belgian ale.

"PP 12-Hour Belgian Beer Fest...Pours with a cloudy amber-brown body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s sweet and malty with a slightly sour and bitter note as well as some dark and slightly rotten fruit notes. Full bodied, smooth and a touch dry."

"Dull, dark, cloudy body. Very light tan head was a bit of a foamer but faded quickly but incompletely. The aroma is soapy and very perfumey. Flavor is figs, spice, fermented grapes (bad homemade wine). It has a very fuzzy mouthfeel from carbonation."
