View Flora Hall / Stray Dog Zero IBU IPA
Chopz reviewed the beer Flora Hall / Stray Dog Zero IBU IPA
Can that pours a cloudy golden-yellow colour with a bubbly white cap that stays around averagely, and some foam lacing is left. Nice fresh hoppy aromas with the citrus and grass nicely balanced by the oat sweetness and yeast. The taste shows the citrus notes of oranges, grapefruit juices and hints of mangoes. There is some bitterness found in this one, so pretty sure it is not close to zero. Still a good brew, but if you want to feel closer to zero IBU, check out Flying Monkeys Theoretikal Zero². So weird to smell full hops and then, have a unhopped mouth.

Chopz reviewed the beer Innis & Gunn Don's Choice
Pours a copper colour with a big creamy-frothy warm-beige head, great retention and thick creamy-foamy lacing. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malts, nuttiness, leafy notes and hints of fruits. The taste is a mix of the fruitiness from the rhubarb, bitterness from the IPA hops and roasted malt base. The hoppiness and fruit do seem to fight each other. Not feeling much of the coconut, as so much else going. I love black IPAs, I love fruit beers, but this is not one I would go back to.

And another averagish beer at the compass Rose. This one is black and burning. No carbonation. Caramel sweetness in this beer as you’d expect from a Scottish.

PaleAleRider reviewed the beer Stone Ruination Double IPA 2.0
Bottle from LCBO. Pours a massive frothy lightly tan head and a hazy golden/amber appearance. Lively carbonation. Big thick soapy dirty lacing. Aromas of bready malts, herbal and floral hops. Flavours are citrus, grapefruit, notes of grass and pine. Caramel and light bready malt in the mix as well. Dry mouthfeel. Nice big hoppy bitterness. I like.
