Harvest Ale is our celebration of the changing weather and the sowing of hops and barley that will be used in our upcoming brews. We usher in the fall with a classic English style Extra Special Bitter of the highest order. Deep ruby in color with an even deeper hop flavor… in fact, we throw fresh English hops into every brewing vessel, then dry hop after fermentation to impart a zesty kick. This beer has real hop character that mingles with fresh malted barley for an experience that will make you wish it were fall year ‘round. 5.7% abv. • 3.6ºL • Extra Special Bitter

Pour is light copper with an ample off-white head. Aroma was not what I expected from an ESB--plenty of pine and citrus along with bread and toffee. Taste is similar with the hops again coming to the forefront. I have to agree with Jabah in that this is a very IPA-like ESB. Will try this again

Though it had a pale ale like hoppiness and a pumpkin aftertaste, the former is just below strong and the latter is only slighty perceptable if you're paying attention. Color is good. My biggest question is why pay more for something that's a hint above average, if not totally average?

Impressive seasonal. I thought this would be an Oktoberfest style, but actually seems more like an IPA...or an IPA-Oktoberfest cross. Light brown to medium orange appearance. Some decent lacing with a white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Little bit of extra malt than the standard IPA, and they are calling this an ESB here....so the best I can describe is some sort of hybrid. Flavor leaning towards an IPA though IMO. Sampled a single first before deciding to go with a 6-pack. Something I would get again...not til next season though most likely.

Pours out in a clear pale amber colour with a rich white head. Rather clean and soapy aroma with hints of caramel and leafy and orangey hops. Medium-bodied with notes of caramel, strawberries, , grass, yellow plums and mild grapefruit. Clean, almost streamlined mouthfeel. Medium-bitter finish of grass, lemon and leaves. Good intentions but lacking soul.

Pours a clear coppery amber with a fine-bubbled off-white head. Aroma is seriously hoppy with evergreen and yeasty hints. Hoppy flavor is evergreen but not too bitter and has hints of fruit and even coffee. Tingly, fizzy texture fairly dances on the tongue.

A bright amber colored beer with a big frothy textured white head. Not a whole lotta hang time. But impressive slick film on the glass sides and soapy ringlet are left behind and linger throughout the drinking. Piney hops are in the nose. The citrus fruitiness, just enough sweetness makes this smooth, medium bodied beer a great drink.

Bottled@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grain, barley, some slight US hops as well as some floral notes. Flavour is barley, slight floral and fruity notes along with some mild hayish notes. Easy to drink and quite balanced. Nothing mindblowing though.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass Appearance: It has a bright golden color with a slight chill haze and a small creamy white head. It fades to just a very thin covering that still makes some nice lace on the glass. Smell: The aroma has a hop filled nose with piney/citrus notes and a hint of caramel and toasted grain. Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor has a good malty backbone with light toasted notes as well as a mild almost fruity sweetness. This is balanced by good bitterness from the hops which add some piney/citrus notes. In the finish I picked up more of a herbal tea like hop flavor that slowly fades off the tongue. It has a solid medium body with good carbonation and a slightly slick texture. Notes: I wasn't expecting a ESB for a harvest beer but it was very enjoyable.

Bottle pour is reminiscent of a pale lager. Aroma is of peanuts, hay, and musty yeast. From the appearance and aroma, I don't have high hopes. Low and behold, the taste is very nice. This is definitely dry hopped. Slightly acidic mouthfeel gives way to a nice caramal malt and sourdough bread taste and the hops are present in the aftertaste. I like this beer a good bit. Lower rate due to aroma and appearance.

Poured a golden color with medium head and some lacing. Aroma was lots of different types of citrus fruits. Flavor was bitter hops and a lot of them pine and citrus. Not a bad one just not my fav ST
