sampled at the pizza port belgian fest. I agree w/ the others, this isn’t a barleywine, very golden, very hopy, citrussy, oh well

This brew pours with a deep golden body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet bitter and very piney. It reminds me of a christmas tree. A slight spiciness also shows through. The flavor is slightly sweet yet bitter with an odd sourness, a touch of pine and some citrus. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry.
