This is the 5th of 15 Limited Edition 15th Anniversary Ales from Rogue. Available from Feb 15th 2004 to Mar 15th 2004 (or until they run out, whichever comes first), on tap and in commemorative 22oz bottles. 4x4 Ale measures in at 13 degrees Plato, 45 IBUs, 6 degrees Lovibiond, with an Apparent Attenuation of 77, Alcohol by Volume is approximately 6.0%. Brewed with 9 ingredients: Western Munich & Wheat, Beeston Pale Ale, & Weyermann Carafoam Malts; Crystal, Cascade, & Centennial Hops, Free Range Coastal Water, and Top Fermenting Pacman Yeast.

    i pretty much agree with the first rater. Rogue has made some good, hoppy beers, but this is a very average pale ale. Why the special release treatment?

    This review is from notes that I have previously taken this beer is macro yellow, tart w/ a clean finish. a nice lawnmower beer. sampled at the RBSG 04
