A Pub brewed India Pale Ale that yields a higher gravity and slightly deeper hue than our perennial IPA, making it "mid way" between the IPA and Imperial IPA. Generous amounts of Amarillo hops were used and aged with oak and apple wood chips for distinctive character. Dispensed with Nitrogen and "slow poured" for a silky mouthfeel.

Can. Colour - pale gold, hazy, huge white cap, lots of effervescence. Aroma - pine, citrus, grass, and cereal. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, over carbonated. Flavour - tropical hoppiness, but not as hoppy as the aroma would indicate. Balance is missing with the hops drowing out the malt.

Tallboy from the Beer Store. Pours a massive foamy bubbly off-white head and has a golden appearance. Quite excessive carbonation. Big thick sticky lacing. Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and grassy hops. Flavours are similar to aromas which much of the same being fairly apparent with the grass and tropical notes but also with some subtle yeasty and floral notes. Has a nice dry and astringent mouthfeel. Some faint bitterness in the finish.
