Had as Posca Rustica. Pours clear golden with a fairly thick eggshell head. Aroma offers pomme, citrus and fresh malt notes. Flavor delivers fruity and malty notes, average but more than palatable. Mouthfeel has decent body and fizz, and an apple finish. Nice all around.

Corked and caged green bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy golden colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and some spot lacing. Heavily carbonated. At first, could only smell Belgian Ale yeast. Then, some apples, earth, spices and hops appeared. Medium-bodied, wet mouthfeel with just a tad of tart sticking. Again, the apples and the mild earth flavours. Hints of spices and grassy hops in the finish. Typical Dupont micro-feel with the earth notes and Belgian yeast.

750ml bottle
8.0% ABV
King/Spadina LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

Part of the Spring 2013 LCBO Dupont feature. The beer pours a hazed golden colour into a chalice with a long lasting rocky cap. Aroma is earthy funk, grains, light fruits and honey. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation (but not champagney). Flavour has a tart fruity start, with some grains and yeast. Has more of a saison-y feel than a Belgian Strong. -

750ml corked caged bottle, decants a cloudy honey-gold ale with a 2 finger white frothy cap. Natural carbonation, Unique aroma - malty sweetness but no hops, herbal tones, clean aroma.. Taste is like an abbey blonde with herbal notes balancing dusty malt flavor- medium finish, clean lightly drying finish but with earthy yeasty notes. Very approachable blonde -maybe done to some archaic recipe but with Dupont finesse.

Had as Posca Rustica .. . Pours a dirty gold .. . shaving cream bubbly foam .. . light notes of yeast, honey, bee butt, and light spices .. . tingling mouth, pretty simple .. . an alright brew, but Duponts regular lineup is better .. . . Not many people know this, but I owned the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. 'A' he'd say. Then 'B'. 'C' would usually follow...

Hazy orange colour with sediments floating around, small white foamy head. Aroma is weak fruits with hints of alcohol. Fruits, wheat some spices and yeast are present in the flavour. Fruity, quite sweet finish. Wellbalanced.

Bottle. Hazy golden yellow, witha slim & steady white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and spicey with honey. Flavour is very spicey, lots of fruit and particularly honey. Big alcohol hit in the finish, which warms on the way down. Medium bodied, highly carbonated. Interesting, but a bit rough around the edges.
