Tasted on tap at the 2006 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. I am pretty sure that this is a new IPA. This IPA pours a deep orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is piney and grapefruity with a touch of caramel malts. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are caramel and fruity. Hops are piney, grapefruity and a touch floral. Nice carbonation. Good balanced between hops and malts. A medium bitter IPA, yet its very hoppy. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
