Pours out the color of a liquid penny with no head. The aroma is very faint and light of clean scents. The mouthfeel is mild and the flavor is plain. This is a okay average beer just nothing special.

a leftover from the CO trip that we had on tap as well. Not bad for the style, though not my favorite. Bright earthy hops in good balance with firm carmel and isscuit malt. Well made.

Poured amber in color with a lingering, small, cream colored head. The aroma was spicey with pine, and malty notes. The taste was more interesting than the aroma. It had some pine, spice, and a little bread. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy.

Semi-clear. Dark honey to light amber in color. An off-white head with a combination of both large and small bubbles. Lacking a bit in size and retention, but did leave some decent lacing. Some bright yellow and orange highlights abound. Some nice hints of grapefruit and orange citrus. Some bread and biscuit malt with notes of caramel also. Seems pretty well balanced, but the aromas are somewhat restrained. The taste provided the grapefruit and orange of course, but I also detected some light pine flavor. The bready, biscuit and caramel malt was more subtle in the taste as opposed to the aroma. Needed to be a bit stronger I thought. Medium mouthfeel. Crisp, smooth and refreshing. Not quite as dry as I was exxpecting nor did it leave as much flavor on the palate as I was hoping. This would be a great beer for Spring and Summer. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Nothing overly complicated. Nice and solid. A great little session beer for when the BBQ is going.

Went for it after a pleasant experience with the 400 pound monkey... not thoroughly impressed, but not hatin' it either. Pours a medium amber/copper with a decent head. Lacing abounds. Slightly thin in the mouth, but smooth, decent flavor.

This beer was ok, but I'm just not a big fan of extra bitters, so trying to be unbiased here. Taste is very bitter..maybe even moreso than a barelywine. Flavors of caramel and hops on steroids. Very hoppy like a double IPA, but with half the alcohol content. Has a amber brown color. A better than average all around beer, but not one of my favorites in the Left Hand family.

An semi opaque orange-amber colored ale. A small, frothy head on pour. Not a lotta hang time. The aroma is faint. Some bready malt, some floral hops. Full bodied ale with some smoothness. Nonoffensive carbonation. A nicedrinkable mix of bittrtness and bread in the tasting. Not the best ESB I’ve tried but no where near the worse.

Copper-colored body, Light head. Not something I would go out of my way for. The label is pretty, don't judge a book by it's color, or a beer too, in this case.

Amber with a brown tinge body not much carbonation or head. Aroma has a slight floral presence. Mouthfeel is a little on the sticky side. Flavor has very faint hints of floral hops and malts with a slightly bitter finish, not too bad.
