A hearty malty imperial brown ale with a Lil bit of brown sugar and perhaps some other light spices. A little earlier than I expected, and almost doppelbockish in its malt profile. Alcohol shows a little, but not to a fault.

Pours a murky dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, brown sugar, caramel, fresh hops, fruit, and alcohol. Taste is much the same with sweet malt, toast, and some herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of toasty and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a nice beer, the hops give it a little different spin.
