Enjoyed in Vermont. Pours a dark brown colour with a beige head and minimal lacing. Mild coffee notes with roasted malts. A little smokey hints. Not so much in the taste. Flavours of fruity and roasted malts. Decent porter lacking in the taste department, and just a little smokiness.

I got a variety case of Rock art that came with 4 different beers. Of the 4, this and the barleywine were the best ones. Dark brown color with a tan head. This porter does have smoke indeed, but it's not very strong. That might be a good thing, though, as it doesn't have a chance of ruining the beer if you're really not into smoke. Otherwise, it has a chocolate flavor with a sweet maltness to it but not without some dryness in the finish. Pretty good.

I had Rock Art Midnight Madness Smoked Porter on cask at the Grey Lodge as part of their Frikin event. This was a great beer. It poured a dark black colored body with a good size tan head. It had a pleasant aroma of smokey roasted goodness. The taste was roasted coffee, chocolate, but still smooth with a slightly smokey finish.
