Brewed for Kunstencentrum Vooruit, celebrating their 100th anniversary. Ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat syrup, hops, yeast. From the website (Google translate from French): "On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the Kunstencentrum De Vooruit Ghent wished to remind the brewing activity he had had in the early 1900. In this context, the Brasserie Dupont was asked to create a beer based on their wishes. Given the success of this new beer at the event, it was decided to open production for all customers. * Organic beer, amber color, dry and bitter with a smoky note (specifically peat) in aroma and taste. This phenolic characteristic is obtained by using a small percentage of malt specially dried with Scottish peat (malt whiskey)."

Pours hazy apricot with a thick, creamy buff head. Aroma has fruity and subtle peaty notes. Flavor has shy fruity and peat flavors, not strong but OK. Mouthfeel is average but pleasing. Hey, let’s see what your palate thinks.
