Old Fashioned Dust Up is the first collaboration brew between Sawdust City and Tooth & Nail. A rustic pale ale inspired by Sawdust City’s Sam and Tooth & Nail’s Matt’s mutual love of a classic Trappist ale. Filled with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis induced funk with notes of citrus and candied pineapple. This ale has a light, cracker-malt body with a classic noble hop flavour through the middle ending with a dry finish.

On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro. Pours an average size frothy off-white head and has a slightly hazy golden amber appearance. Ok lacing. Aromas of herbal hops, fruits and spices. Flavours are smooth citrus and fruity notes, a little bit of Brett with sweet notes as well. Some notes of herbal, pine and grassy hops. Somewhat of a wet mouthfeel. Good retention. Medium carbonation. Not too bad.
