Celebrating our French history - et oui :) Pours a clean golden colour with nice steady carbonation, a white fluffy top, good stay and some dirty lacing. A mix of malt and apples in the nose at first. Then, some deep green grassy herbal hops come out. The hops are felt at first in the mouth, but does not linger with some mild cereal malts nicely rounding things. Not a fan of the hops used in this one, but the rest is quite quaffable for a lighter lager. À votre santé !

Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a fairly small foamy white head and has a pale golden appearance. Weak lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas are grainy, grassy, hay and a little floral. Flavours are mostly grainy malts, notes of herbs and little bit of grassy hops. Dry finish. Not bad, nothing really standing out though.
