Tafel Lager is a fine quality, smooth tasting natural lager with a wholesome flavor and aroma. This beer has its origins at Hansa Brewery in Swakopmund. The taste can be described as the ideal balance between refreshment, flavor and bitterness, which makes it the perfect companion for any occasion.

Tried this at the Sedia, Maun, Botswana on 2/9/08. Nice looking beer, golden with a thin white head and good lacing. Aroma is a little off-putting, though - light malt but faint cooked-veggies. Mouthfeel is sommth and flavors are mellow: fresh malt with just a touch of hop bitterness and a fine, creamy finish.

Just tastes looks and smells so great. And is great. Not the best in terms of sheer magnificence from this great country, but once again its an all round great beer that you can't go wrong with.

This fine beer outta Namibia is, in my opinion, one of the best Namibian Lagers! Great solid taste that has a very pleasing smell and look, good head! The perfect beer for a hot day and a braai!
