Cobblestone Steam Lager - This style originated in San Francisco, California when a brewer used cold fermenting lager yeast at warmer ale temperatures. The result is a slightly spicy note on top of a crisp, lighter lager. One of our biggest sellers!

Eh, not really good, but not bad either... nutty, light brown with a thin head that quickly disapated. Slightly nutty flavor and lighter bodied than I would have imagined.

One of the two pints I had while visiting Morgan Street. Not bad for a steam. clear copper, big white head. and noticeable nutty and fresh hop character. Little lighter bodied than i anticipated, but pleasent nonetheless.

Sampled on tap at Morgan Street. An American Pale Ale brewed with a Cali Common yeast. Pours copper with little head. Aroma and flavor are dominated by American C-hops, but the hops are more pronounced in the flavor. Medium-bodied and easy to drink.

An ok, but light cali common or steam, or whatever, quite enjoyable and would make a good sesson lager (even though more of an ale in this case). There was no lacing, a nice brown color, slight head retention and minor alcohol.
