La Côte Est est une IPA rousse qui s’inspire des Red IPA Américaine. Elle est brassée avec une bonne quantité de seigle et généreusement houblonnée à froid avec un mélange de houblons Simcoe-Centennial-Columbus. Vêtue d’une robe rouge grenat, et coiffée d’une mousse crème-fouetteuse, elle offre un nez de sucre d’orge, enveloppé d’un fruité de pamplemousse. Sous notre palais, ce nectar souffle le vent de fraîcheur d’une amertume de houblon soutenue. La brise s’éternise en arrière-goût, laissant la douceur du malt, revenir timidement, apposer sa bise. Une bière digne de son inspiration, les India Pale Ale (IPA) de la Côte Est américaine.

    On tap at Pub Chelsea. Has barely any head and has an amber appearance. Fairly weak lacing. Aromas are mostly malty and citrusy hops. A bit of caramel. Flavours are sweet and toasty, some earthy and piney hop notes. Has a bit of bitterness on the palate but still well blended with sweetness. Average carbonation. Astringent mouthfeel.
