It has a dark color, a full body and plenty of aromas. It is produced at the end of the summer to give it time to slowly ferment and develop in the bottle, and be ready to express all its complex aromatic scents at the right time. The bouquet is characterized by the use of the licorice root, which can be smelled and pleasantly tasted with its peculiar notes. The aromatic profile is completed by the aromas of nuts, biscuit, chocolate and a citrusy touch of tangerine, which comes from the dry hopping. A beer that warms the heart and appeases the senses, perfect for a toast during the festive season and to sip with Christmas sweets and dark chocolate.

July 2019: Shared 750 ml corked and waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV 9.0%. Deep brown colour, off-white head. The aroma has moderate but still distinct notes of liquorice, also malts with a hint of caramel. The flavour is malty but not too sweet, notes of mild spices and discrete liquorice, hints of brown sugar and dark dried fruits. Moderate hops. Well balanced and enjoyable.
