750ml bottle pours with a classic deep dark body that supports a full chocolate mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up plenty of chocolate goodness rolling into sweet malts, dark roasted malts, earthy soft smokiness and a sliver of molasses. The taste is smooth and near silky as sweetened chocolate, sweetened dark roasted malts and earthiness unload across the palate. The earthiness grows to a modest level to midway amid pleasing chocolate notes. Toward the finish a soft mild smokiness comes to the surface to at just another tasty facet to this great sipper.

A brownish-black in color with a big sudsy textured, tan head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A medium ringlet is left behind. The profile is smokiness, burnt caramel. I had a hard time finishing this one. Not liking the flavors. Medium bodied and tarlike
