Nov. 2014: Shared bottle at local tasting, thanks to our beerpal Olav. Black colour, moderate tan head. The aroma has dusty notes, nearly overshadowing the expected roasty notes. Moderate roasty notes in the flavour, also less pleasant dusty and grainy notes. Not the most successful porter in the world.

600 ml bottle. Poured a dark brown-black colored Porter with a two fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. The aroma is roasted malts, coffee beans, fruity, cherries, chocolate. The flavour is rich roasted malts, coffee beans, dark bitter chocolate, dark fruits, berries, note of licorice. The mouthfeel is creamy and very smooth. This medium to full bodied Porter has a long roasted malts finish added to a real bitterness. A superb tasting Porter from a sunny country. Another one, please !
