Enter the world of hop good ness with our new hoppy ale named after one of our brewers, John Boy. A big does of Yakima Valley Hops gives it a medium intensity of herbal, floral and citrus notes-almost woody. This is only our second nervous breakdown.

From growler. Pours a clear light golden with a large pillowy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is grassy, earthy hops with a touch of citrus and bready malts.

The flavor is a speckle of sweet malts then some corn/vegetables that quickly gives way to a big floral hoppy bitterness. It has a long lasting bitter aftertaste. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Overall, a decent IPA. It's very hoppy and bitter, but the hops used aren't my faves. The vegetable flavor threw it off for me as well. I appreciate what they're trying to do though.
