Our super hoppy IPA, raw, but still balanced and very drinkable. IPAs are not as prevalent in eastern Ontario but we sell a lot of this beer in urban areas and at our brewery. This beer was originally called Trainwreck until the crash in Lac Megantic and the Ottawa bus crash. We changed the name because we thought it was really crappy to have a beer called trainwreck. 64 IBU.

Picked up a tallboy at the brewery. Pours a good size foamy off-white head and has an amber coppery appearance. Decent lacing. Aromas of earthy and resin hops. Flavours are mostly earthy hops with some notes citrus and resin hops. Has quite a bit of maltiness in this one. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Pretty lively carbonation. A bit too malty for my tastes, needs a bit more hoppy bitterness. Not bad.

The beer poured a hazy orange-gold colour with a thin creamy white head. The aroma was weak hints of caramel, grass, and floral hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is slightly fruity with notes of light fruit and grains. Not very IPA like.
