When the Swiss brewing agitator Laurent Mousson comes to visit, he always leaves traces … Inspired, he concocted with the complicity of its mini-him, Dominic Gosselin, a one-of-a-kind season that highlights the subtleties of smoke! This redhead brownish exhales a spicy aroma and roast set with a halo of alcohol, supporting spices. The minerality of beer enhances the smoked chili Pimenton de la Vera) and of the malt, smoked with beech wood. All of that wraps around a subtle bitterness. Vaporous, the beer leaves on a dry and sweet note.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a fair size frothy off-white head that dissipates to a thin layer and has a dark amber coppery appearance. Decent sticky lacing. Aromas of dark fruits, a bit smokey. Flavours of spices, lots of smoky notes, some raisins and various other dry type fruits. Slick and slight warming mouthfeel. Pretty good!

Pours a hazy amber colour with a small, creamy beige cap, not much stay but decent lacing. Lots of smokey aromas with fruity notes and caramel malts. The taste shows many spices with the smokiness of the malt and the Saison notes in the background. The mouthfeel is rich, but does end up being kind of refreshing. A very interesting brew with a blend of Saison, Rauchbier, red ale and spiced ale.
