Comes out of the tap an opaque dark chocolaty brown with a fine-bubbled pale yellow-beige head that leaves very generous lacing - more like a curtain than lacing! Malty aroma has notes of cloves, caramel and cinnamon. Satisfying malty flavor delights with notes of cloves and caramel. Texture has firm body and plenty of tingle. Look for this one, laddies and lasses!

A deep brown colored beer with a two finger frothy textured, light beige head. There's some retention. Settles into a thick film and thin ringlet. A malt-toffee nose. Same toffee in tasting. Some smokiness. Medium bodied and nicely smooth.
