Son in law gave bottle as present. Clear yellow blond, nice white foam head. Aroma is grassy hops, bit of caramel malt. Taste is good bitter, bit of malt. Very crisp and somewhat high carbonated. Lasting bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Poured in the original Svijany seidel a clear deep gold or golden orange colored Pils with a generous three fingers slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. Soft carbonation. Superb lacing. The aroma is grassy hops, grainy malts, yeast. The flavour is a pronounced grassy hoppy bitterness, solid grainy malts and ...flowery, violet. The balance bitterness / maltiness is a success. The mouthfeel is slight crispy, creamy and very smooth. This medium bodied Pivo has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. This Pivo could be a beautiful reference of what a tasting bohemian Pilsner should be.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, yeast, hops and some grass/hay. Flavour is quite much the same. Big grassy and fruity + malty finish and aftertaste.

500 ml bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Golden colour, large lasting head. Strong fruity and flowery hops aroma, some malts in there too, faint hints of leather and camphor. Flavour is a hoppy bitter explosion from start to finish, verging on being too much, but there also is a delicate malty sweetness below which makes the bitterness acceptable. Long, bitter and dry aftertaste. Who said pilseners don’t taste of anything?
