    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

The house brand at Bottlescrew Bill's and Buzzard's Cafe in Calgary, served in a pint glass. Clear light brown color (like strong iced tea), very thin off-white/tan head. Slightly stringy thin lace left down the side of the glass. Smell of some floral hops and some malt, but predominantly its the grapefruit aroma that really comes through. The taste has some sweetness from the caramel malt - almost like a honey brown. Hoppy finish, typical of an American Pale Ale. Mouthfeel was smooth, low carbonation gave it a cream ale type feel. Priced right, especially at Happy Hour, it's my session beer if I am planning to spend any amount of time here. This is a contract brewed product that has been made by Big Rock (bottled and draft) and now Calgary's other micro - Wild Rose on draft only.
