About:
been drinking beers for a long time. A friend and I used to go to a place called the Liquor Barn and only one of us would go in and (randomly, most of the time)choose 6 beers. Then we would share them and critique them. It was a good way to try beers you might not normally try. Liquor barn would also rate them and have little plaquards with a bit of info about each beer. I miss them...lol I came here looking to find out about a beer that was on a list of the 'top ten' beers, (Smithwicks irish ale). I am looking forward to learning more about different beers. I can say that I have never heard of any of the beers in the top 25 on this site. I didn't find one I have heard of until #39. So I obviously have a lot to learn.

  light color, not much aroma. decent flavor if you like a skunky bavarian flavor. First tried this because it was in the top ten on another beer list. Better than Corona but still a very average beer. Not bad for the price.
