  For a week beer this has more flavor than an exotic spice warehouse. So hoppy it's almost a kangaroo. This is a good driving beer and very good with cornflakes at breakfast. Drink it before you shuffle your mortal coil.

  ESB varies incredibly and doesnt age well. Best way to appreciate this Ale of the Gods is to slip the barman a £10 note to telephone you when a new barrel is arriving. Now comes the difficult bit.... You have to explain that you want the beer straight from the barrel and within 10 hours of delivery. I usually offer to buy 5 pints there and then. This is pure nectar the elexir of the gods, yes its green with hops alive with fermentation a veritable snow scene in the glass. But the taste - mmmmmmmmmm. At every pub I have persuaded the barman or landlord to sell me this beer before they think it is ready they have immediately on tasting become hooked on this young fresh heavenly beer. I love it too when it has settled after a 2 or 3 days its a different beer again but after 3 days it isn't worth drinking in my opinion and an end of barrel is 1960s. Bottled is Ok if you are marooned on a desert island but otherwise drink your own urine.
